Last spring I saw The Struts in concert. As always, it was a really good time. Somewhere between that concert and May 8th, I decided I needed Everybody Wants on vinyl. Why? Dunno. But it became a mission.
This little gem was sold out every-fucking-where. Clearly, people have good taste. But no one tells me what I can’t have. I found a website that said they had it, so I ordered it. A few days later they emailed me. “Whoops, we’re all out. You wanna back order?” I mean, YEAH.
A few months later they email me “hey, so we don’t know if we’re ever getting this album in again. You still wanna be on the list?” And I was like, sure. But fully expected to never get this vinyl. It’s fine. I went through the stages of grief. We’re good.
Last week I got an email “hey, your album is on the way.” Hahaha! Okay, boo. Sure.
Friends. There was a knock on my door about 30 min ago. This sweet sweet vinyl is burning up my stereo as we talk. Yes. I have a stereo. Good speakers are fucking important.

Anyway, happy Monday and long live The Struts.
